THE POWER OF THE 8F's
Published in March 2006, The Power of the 8Fs is a follow up to Working Steam: Stanier 8Fs - the colour album produced in 2002. Both volumes have been prepared by Society officers Jeff Ryan, David McIntosh and George Moon and published by Ian Allan.
The Power of the 8Fs features a colour cover and 112 pages of black and white photos of 8Fs at work in the UK and overseas, including Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy and the Suez Canal Zone. Over 230 photographs are included, representing the work of over 100 photographers.
